I bought this TV during Black Friday for my girlfriend from TigerDirect through Amazon. Let me just say I have yet to find anyone match the price I paid for this Sony 32" LCD TV. This includes online stores and the retail stores including a Sony Outlet. The picture is crisp and setup was literally less than 7 minutes. In no time I was receiving amazing pictures from my satellite receiver. I can't wait to hook up my Blu-Ray DVD player. For the price you can't get a better quality HDTV and hey....It's a SONY!!!!!

My first HDTV! I waited until the prices came down to earth and this Sony was more than reasonable in the price. The picture with widescreen HD content is unreal--saw National Geographic HD show was blown away! This is one tv with style--has a clear glass panel with the indicator lights "floating" in it! I do not know how Sony did this? It is much better looking than the Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-32M4000! Standard def content is okay--but that is not the TV fault. One should really opt for a HDTV cable box or you can use the "QAM" tuner which picks up Hi-Def signals right from the cable feed! Hi-def content will amaze you! The viewing angle is is indeed 178 degrees--only issue might be the picture is somewhat washed out from the side--but still watchable! This size "32" is the prefect all-around size--can be used as a small main tv and what a bedroom TV! This Sony is replacing a trusty Sony 27 inch Trintron and this tv screen is like a movie screen by comparison! Bravo Sony!

Customer Review: A great television for the price.
This is a great television that packs a lot of bang for the buck. It's loaded with features, small enough to be used in a bedroom yet large enough to be the center point of your entertainment system, and HD-ready right out of the box. The only downside is that, rarely, the set can actually crash when trying to process a really weak or garbled HD signal. It freaked me out the first time I saw it do this; I thought the thing had short circuited! But a quick press of the power button (and a new HD set top box from my cable provider) resolved the issue and it has yet to crash again. Others have complained about the viewing angle, but I haven't any complaints. Perhaps I just have mine more favorably placed than the others do?

The sound is fair and the picture quality is ok if you are basically right in front of the set. I purchased the tv only a couple of weeks ago and still am stumbling through the 59 page instruction manual. Good luck on this unless you are an expert in tv features and operations. Would I buy it again? Maybe.

Amazons white glove delivery is just GREAT. They set it up, plug it in, any problems? give them or Amazon a call and they will ship it back. What I like: -Don't let the 5 series foul you, the picture qualtiy is jaw dropping -Black levels are deep and distinguishable -ATSC/QAM tuner is great, got more Channels than I knew I had -The Plug and Play option makes it quick and simple to start. This book is written well and explains the technology well, and is a good reference for the basic design and set-up. However, items mentioned as coming in the future are already standard. The HD TV and Home Theater technology is changing so fast it is hard to write, print and distribute a book and keep it current.

Customer Review: Perfect small TV for bedroom
Having bought a Samsung 32" LCD for our living room a few years back, we knew we wanted one for our bedroom as well. We waited a long time for the price to come down, but it was totally worth it. From a reasonable viewing range (3'-6') this TV can't be beat. Deep, rich color. Vibrant picture. As other people have noted, the sound on this TV isn't going to blow you away but it's a 19" TV, if you're really hoping for theater quality sound you may need to lower your expectations. :) But for a small quality TV, this Samsung does the job and then some. Also, they seem to have listened to the complaints about the sticker on the screen, as our TV did not have the sticker affixed. I highly recommend this TV.
